1. Acceptance of terms

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a legally binding contract under Indian law to place an order. If you are under 18, you may use the site only with a parent or guardian who places the order for you.
3. Your account and OTP login
- You can sign in with a mobile number (OTP) or with an email and password.
- Give us accurate and current information, and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your password and OTPs private and for all activity under your account. Tell us at once at care@hitayu.store if you suspect misuse.
- We may suspend or close accounts that are used for fraud, abuse or in breach of these terms.
4. Our products
- Hitayu soaps and lip balms are handmade in small batches using natural ingredients. Colour, texture, size, fragrance and appearance can vary slightly from batch to batch and from the photos on the site. These natural variations are not defects.
- Natural ingredients can still cause reactions in some people. We recommend a patch test before first use, and you should read the ingredient list and stop using a product if irritation occurs. Please consult a doctor if you have allergies, sensitive skin or a skin condition.
- Our products are personal-care products. They are not medicines and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. References to Ayurveda describe traditional ingredients and practices only.
- Products are shown as available while stocks last. We may limit quantities or discontinue a product without notice.
5. Pricing
All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges, if any, are shown at checkout before you pay. We try to keep prices and descriptions accurate, but if we find an error we may correct it and, if needed, cancel the affected order and refund any amount paid.
6. Orders and acceptance
Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we confirm the order and it is accepted for dispatch. We may decline or cancel an order for reasons such as stock unavailability, pricing errors, an undeliverable address, or suspected fraud or misuse. If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we will refund the full amount.
7. Payment
- Online payment: we accept UPI, debit/credit cards and net banking through Razorpay. Payment details are entered on Razorpay’s secure page and are not stored by us.
- Cash on Delivery (COD): where available, COD orders must be verified with an OTP sent to your mobile number before we dispatch. COD may not be available for every pincode or order value.
- We may cancel any order that we reasonably believe is suspicious, fraudulent or placed with incorrect or unverifiable details. We may also refuse COD to customers with a history of refused or undelivered COD parcels.
8. Shipping and delivery
Delivery timelines, charges and conditions are described in our Shipping Policy. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
9. Returns, cancellations and refunds
Because these are personal-care products, returns are accepted only in limited cases. Please read our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details.
10. Intellectual property
All content on this site, including the Hitayu name, logo, product photos, text, graphics, recipe descriptions and design, belongs to [Business legal name] or its licensors and is protected by Indian intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or use it commercially without our written permission. You may share links to our pages and product images on social media for non-commercial purposes with credit to Hitayu.
11. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site, including by attempting to gain unauthorised access, introducing harmful code, scraping data, placing fake orders, or using the site for any unlawful purpose.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Hitayu is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or products. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural events, strikes, courier or network disruptions, or payment gateway outages. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version applies from the “Last updated” date shown above. Orders already placed are governed by the terms in force when the order was placed.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
